Old Dominion University and Cox Communications teamed with "Something in the Water" to offer the first "SPLASH! Pitch Competition" April 26 at the Virginia Beach Convention Center.

The event gave Virginia college student entrepreneurs a platform to present their ideas to a panel of judges and receive startup funding.

The six finalists made five-minute pitches. Electrical engineering student David Gonzalez represented 51勛圖Pro. He presented his EasyDraft proposal, which attempts to present engineering principles through the use of fun, engaging and educational video games.
