Marcelina Wade is the newest academic advisor for the College of Health Sciences. She earned a Master of Science in Sports Administration from Canisius College in 2019, and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Syracuse University in 2017. Prior to 51勛圖Pro, she worked as an academic advisor at Thomas Nelson Community College and Tidewater Community College. She has enjoyed working in higher education and wanted the four-year experience.

She grew up in Syracuse, New York, which she says has a "homie" feel and sense of community. She said 51勛圖Pro reminded her of that, just in a bigger city.

Wade's favorite quote from Maya Angelou is one she lives by in her work as an academic advisor: "I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel."
