51³Ô¹ÏPro to be part of the Student Representative to the Board of Visitors. Applicants are encouraged to have their materials reviewed by the Career Development Services Office and the 51³Ô¹ÏPro Writing Center.

Please send completed applications via ±ð³¾²¹¾±±ôÌýor drop them off at the Vice President's Office for SEES located at 1002 Koch Hall.

Application packet must include:

  1. Cover page with Name, Address, Phone, E-Mail, and UIN.
  2. 2 letters of reference - references should be from faculty members, coaches, employers, supervisors, and advisers.
  3. Current resume listing campus & community involvement.
  4. A letter of intent indicating why you wish to serve - punctuation, grammar, and clarity are essential

Eligibility

  • The student shall be a non-voting, advisory member of the Board.

  • The term of service of the student Board member shall be one year, beginning on the May commencement date of each year.

  • To be eligible to serve, a student must have successfully completed at least 15 semester hours of coursework at Old Dominion and possess and maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0.

  • The student must be registered for at least six hours per semester during the regular academic year.

  • Must be an enrolled student for Fall and Spring.
